"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing." (Psalm 100:1-2)

Jesus Christ’s gospel of Good News draws people to worship with Kirkwood as they search to find a life-fulfilling way through the pressures of the 21st century. Our Pastors, Elders, and laypersons join together to present thought-provoking services of worship and praise to God.

We welcome you to join us each Sunday for worship at 11:00 a.m.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.

Worship is an opportunity to worship God and to connect with God and our neighbors. Our worship is hybrid: it is in-person and online (link to YouTube Channel). Worship at Kirkwood generally includes congregational hymn singing, music provided by the choir, prayer, reading the scripture, the scripture communicated and reflected on through storytelling and preaching, moments for personal reflection, and sacraments. Worship is participatory.

Our church building is accessible. There are handicapped parking spaces on the Traford side of the sanctuary. From these spaces there is a sidewalk that leads to the side entrance to the narthex (the lobby outside of the sanctuary). We provide assistive hearing devices. We provide printed bulletins and most of the information in the bulletin is also displayed on screen during worship.

All are welcome. Children are encouraged to be in worship.
